FOR THE LOVE OF COLLECTING · LAUNCHING SOON

Grading beyond
the ordinary.

An artist’s one-off. A clever custom. A cult classic that makes you smile. We assess its condition, give collectors a voice, and put it in acrylic you can open. A different approach for a different kind of collection.

01 / A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEWYour collection. Your kind of remarkable.

Serious about the piece.
Room for the personality.

A figure can be a memory, a punchline, or a small work of art. It deserves thoughtful grading and a great place on your shelf. That’s where we come in.

01

Made for the
unconventional.

Custom figures, artist-made pieces, and unexpected ideas belong here. We assess what’s in front of us and celebrate the creativity that makes it worth displaying.

02

Protected.
Never sealed away.

Your piece gets an acrylic display case that stays unsealed. Enjoy the presentation, keep access to your collectible, and make it part of your space.

03

A flat fee.
A clearer starting point.

Simple pricing is part of the idea. Ask about submissions and we’ll confirm the rate, case fit, and shipping details before you send anything.

02 / GOOD COMPANY FOR YOUR COLLECTION

Not every collectible
fits the same mold.

And that’s the whole point.

03 / READ THE LABEL

Two ways to see
what makes it special.

Overall points. A letter grade.
Together on one label.

The AFG label brings together overall points and a letter grade. Overall points summarize our assessment of the card, bubble, and figure. The letter grade brings together six subjective subgrades. Community scoring is being developed to give collectors a voice in those subgrades.

Explore the six categories
Example Chewbacca label: overall points 88.00, overall letter grade C+, with separate card, bubble, figure and six character subgrades
88.00Overall points

Card, bubble, and figure are shown individually as C, B, and F.

C+Letter grade

Social, History, Humor, Impact, Unique, and Relevance.

An existing AFG label. N/A means a category does not apply. Community voting rules and final score calculations will be published before official voting opens.

04 / COLLECTORS HAVE A SAYCOMMUNITY PANEL · TAKING SHAPE

You see the character.
Give it a voice.

For collectors, creators, and people who just get it.

The story, the originality, the humor. These are personal reactions, not objective facts. You might love a piece that leaves someone else cold. That difference is part of collecting.

Join the collector grading panel. When official rounds open, the plan is to email you photos and background on a piece, then ask for your take. Your subjective subgrades contribute to the letter grade, shown alongside the overall points assessed by AFG.

A few things
worth knowing.

Do you authenticate figures or signatures?

No. AFG grades condition and presents collectibles for display. We do not verify authenticity, provenance, licensing, or signatures. A label is not a certificate of authenticity.

Can I submit a custom or artist-made piece?

Yes. Custom figures, artist-made pieces, and unusual collectibles are central to the idea. Send the details first so we can confirm fit and suitability.

Why keep the acrylic case unsealed?

Because it is still your collection. An unsealed case offers a display enclosure while allowing access. The grade records condition at assessment; later handling or changes can affect that condition.

Does the community decide the overall points?

No. The proposed community panel focuses on the six character and cultural subgrades. AFG assesses the overall points. The official voting method is still being finalized.

What is the price and turnaround time?

Public submissions are not open yet. The service is built around flat-rate pricing. Ask about submissions to confirm current pricing, shipping, case suitability, and timing before sending a piece.

Can I vote or join the panel now?

You can try the scoring example and register interest in the collector grading panel. Official scoring rounds and email invitations are not open yet.
